The "Boom Boom Room" lies kitty corners with the Fillmore,
on the North West corner of Geary and Fillmore Streets between the Western
Addition and Japantown districts of San Francisco.
My first visit here was to see David Kemp playing with the Ted Early Band and I have returned several times since. Wendy DeWitt plays here with the Steve Freund band too from time to time. I love the atmosphere in this cosy bar, and as you may guess it has featured many world famous musicians. The web site is well worth bookmarking! |
