Troika Games LLC developed Arcanum, a computer role playing game with an unusual idea ~ imagine magic meets engineering!  Thus was Arcanum: of Steamworks and Migick Obscura shipped in August 2001.

The game is immensely popular, having won "Best Roleplaying Game of 2001" from IGN as well as "PC Gamer's Best Roleplaying Game of 2001".
