14th December 2003
Steadily working away at various parts of the site, we've just completed feature pages for
GuitarTrader.com and Musician's
Friend - two of
our two hundred plus affiliated stores - Decklin's entire Christmas wish-list could be
fulfilled
from these two companies combined inventory!!
7th December 2003
I am delighted to announce that Decklin's Domain has (for the very first
time) taken part in a newspaper ad campaign - this one placed by wisevillage.com
~ there's a competition up there in Canada folks, with prizes yet, and it runs
to the end of December ... this pic is similar to the print ad being run in
British Columbia and Edmonton - go on, have a look! See if you can find us
in Chestnut Court :)

More music news - email from Noelle Hampton ~
| Hey Beautiful People,
It's been a while since we sent out a note and we hope you are all
doing well. The seasons are changing and that always makes us hibernate
a bit, which is why you won't see too many shows coming up. Andre and I
do have a few shows this month to announce, though. One is a benefit for
my old high school (Tam High) to raise money for their performing arts
center and the other is at Slim's next week. We hope to see you this
month!!
Saturday, Nov. 8th -- OnStage Mill Valley
9pm Show (There are 3 shows- the Sat. 9pm show is the one we
are in)
(formerly the Mill Valley Variety Show)
142 Throckmorton Theater (across the street from the Sweetwater)
This is a benefit for the Tam High Performing Arts Center featuring
us, Cole Tate, Rita Abrams, the Rowan Brothers, and Susan Z among
others. We will just be performing a few songs, but there will be
many notable local musicians, theatrical acts and comedy acts that night
and good vibes all around. The tickets are not cheap, but the money goes
toward the music and arts programs for our local high school, and we all
know how crucial that is.
Tickets are $25.00 general audience, and $12.00 for students and
seniors.
For tickets and further information, call: (415) 383-9600 or go
to:

heard either of these two? If not, please check them out on their
websites because they are both amazing!

Slim's

We really hope you make it out to the Slim's show. It promises to be
the best 12 bucks you have spent in a long time!!! We hope you are all
staying warm and cozy and we look forward to seeing you soon!
Much love,
Noëlle and André

I can't believe those Personals sites ... I tried to put a perfectly legitimate
picture of myself up on my profile on one of them and they rejected it ... because (and I
quote) "one of your pictures appears to be 'out of date' " ... have
these guys no sense of humour, or what? They let the women get away with
it all the time .... ?

With everything going on lately it has been difficult to find a suitable
starting point for this year ~ until I received this little reminder of the beauty of
the planet we live on. We wish all earthlings well in the coming year and
hope fervently that common sense and decency will prevail over the arrogance and
greed of politicians. One day perhaps, all will have the freedom to live
wherever they choose, be proud of all their heritage ... and responsible enough
to take proper care of this tiny world.
